Jackson Day 63: 1870 grams or 4 lbs 2 oz. he gained another 2 ounces! He ate 10 cc this afternoon from the bottle, 34 cc is the whole bottle. He's had a little bit more apnea and bradycardia last night and today. I think it's because his hematocrit is so low at 28. Because he is making red blood cells, his retic is 2.6, they don't want to give him blood just yet because they want to see if he can start making enough blood on his own. They've given him lasix to help remove any excess fluid he may have and see if that helps with the apnea. But I think he is going to need blood soon. He always does so much better after. He has been a little fussier today too. But overall he is doing great! FOJSP!!
